LI Yan Wing Rachel, a Year 2 student in Global Business Management (BBA-GBM), led her team to win the championship in the recent 全港大專生「健康達人」短片創作比賽. The contest was organised by PCL Asia and sponsored by YF Life. It attracted over 100 participants from various local universities and colleges.
Rachel’s team received a cash prize of HK$50,000 for their award-winning film. Reflecting on the experience, Rachel said it allowed her to learn new filming and editing skills and gain valuable professional insights.
“In this competition, I took on both directing and acting roles. From developing the script to performing on camera, the schedule was tight but the experience was extremely rewarding. We chose the common social media phenomenon of ‘misleading product descriptions’ as our theme. Using a humorous approach, we aimed to promote pickleball and showcase the positive energy that sports can bring.”
Rachel’s success in the competition not only highlights her creative talent but also demonstrates her ability to develop a diverse range of skills through hands-on experience.
