Accountancy Reception 2015

The Department of Accountancy hosted its first Accountancy Reception 2015 on 31 August 2015 for its Years 3 and 4 students from BBA in Accounting Concentration.  The Reception aimed at providing an orientation to these students so that they are better prepared to start their new semester.  The Reception addressed issues relating to their curriculum such as pre-requisites and graduation requirements, pathways to enter the accountancy profession such as different professional bodies and their major differences, and useful hints on job-hunting including a walk-through of the Big-4 recruitment process. A recent graduate was invited to share his experience in accomplishing the study, choosing the professional examination, and successfully gaining the job offer.
