• AACSB Accreditation

The School of Business at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) has recently been awarded the AACSB International (AACSB) accreditation. HSUHK is the first self-financed university in Hong Kong to earn this international and professional accreditation, which recognises the School’s outstanding development in business education.

The AACSB review committee recognises business schools that demonstrate a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning. The committee also acknowledges the school’s commitment in earning its accreditation, as it reflects the school’s faculty members’ dedication towards students, alumni, the larger business community, and the overall higher education sector. Stephanie M Bryant, Executive Vice President and Chief Accreditation Officer of AACSB said “Today’s students are tomorrow’s business leaders, and the addition of the School of Business of HSUHK to the network of AACSB-accredited business schools will have a lasting positive impact for their institution, both locally and globally.”

As the world’s largest business education alliance, AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) connects educators, students, and business to achieve a common goal: to create the next generation of great leaders. Synonymous with the highest standards of excellence since 1916, AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and professional development services to over 1,500 member organizations and more than 785 accredited business schools worldwide. With its global headquarters in Tampa, Florida, USA; Europe, Middle East, and Africa headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore, AACSB’s mission is to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education. Less than six percent of the world’s schools offering business and management degree programmes hold AACSB accreditation. For more information, visit aacsb.edu.
