Accountancy Students Received HKICPA’s Scholarships

Let’s congratulate our accountancy students who were awarded the following scholarship from Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA):

1. LUK Hiu Ying, Crystal (graduate, 2014) – QP Scholarship
2. KAN Tsz Wa (BBA Year 4) – HKICPA Scholarship
3. LO Kwok Tung (BBA Year 4) – HKICPA Scholarship

QP scholarships recognise academic merits, serve as a new source of financial aid for deserving students and encourage top local accountancy graduates to pursue an internationally recognised accountancy qualification. This award is in the form of a fee waiver, to cover the fees for initial student registration, one year student annual subscription, four QP modules and Final Examination.

The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) scholarships were established to encourage accountancy studies and recognise academic excellence in accountancy at universities.  For each academic year, a scholarship of HK$6,000 will be awarded to each deserving candidate as recommended by the universities.

The above students received their scholarship from HKICPA in the award ceremony for scholarship recipients on 20 September 2014.
