Before the Graduation Ceremony

1.Graduands check in at the classrooms next to the Auditorium to pick up their name cards;

2.Graduands pick up the Graduate Booklet and other documentation;

3.Graduands enter the Auditorium and seat according to their year and programme on a first-come-first-served basis;

During the Ceremony

4. The Master of Ceremony (MC) announces the playing of the University Anthem;

5. Graduands stand until the University Anthem is over and then the MC will ask graduands to be seated;

6. The Dean of School declares the Ceremony open and welcomes the graduands;

7. The President gives a speech;

8. The MC invites the Programme Director-cum-Orator to present the graduands to the President;

When the procession starts

9. Graduands walk up to the stage to hand over their name cards to the Orator, who will read out their names one by one;

10. Graduands walk to the centre of the stage, stop at a designated spot and bow to the President and then walk on to bow to the Dean and then walk off the stage.

After the entire Department has completed the ceremonies, the Dean will declare the session closed. Graduands will be invited to leave the Auditorium and the Lee Quo Wei Academic Building.
