Speakers’ Profile
Tolmas Wong, CFA
Mr Wong is currently a Director (Sales), Private Clients Services with CIMB Securities & an adjunct lecturer at the Singapore Management University. He has over 20 years of experience in fund management and stock broking, and has held various positions at United Overseas Bank, Citicorp Vickers and Schroder Securities.
Mr. Wong has graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration at the National University of Singapore and Master of Applied Finance at the Macquarie University, Australia. He is a CFA charter holder, and is formerly a Board Member of CFA Singapore and the Asian Securities Analysts Federation. He is also the recipient of CFA Institute’s inaugural ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award for the Asia Pacific region in 2012.

Speaker’s Profile
Sam Phoen
Mr Phoen is a financial markets practitioner with over 20 years of experience. His working career has included 16 years in GIC, where he was deputy head of the Foreign Exchange Department. He also had successful stints in a large Singapore-based hedge fund, followed by over six years in Shanghai managing the China Global Markets business for an Australian bank. Sam is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and was formerly a board director of CFA Singapore.
