Singapore Exchange “Train the Trainer” Program

Introduction
The Department of Economics and Finance (EAF) of Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) and Singapore Exchange (SGX) have recently entered into collaboration on joint market education in Hong Kong. As the first step of the collaboration, EAF and SGX will launch a “Train-the-trainer” program for HSMC faculty and students through Webinar.
It is also a historic and unique program for the first time in Hong Kong, to help expand horizon of the market knowledge insight across the region. The financial market is undergoing fast-pace changes and the trend of globalization, the need of understanding the market in breadth and depth is critical for market participants. This program will enable participants to get real application of the financial knowledge with different angles to look into Hong Kong and Singapore markets. Participants are expected to enhance employability in pursuit of a future career in the financial institutions.
The program will consist of four topics spanning across 2017. Each topic will consist of 2 sessions that will kick start in mid-March, with the rest of the topics commencing in April/ May, September and November respectively. The program will be conducted via webinar by distinguished SGX Academy Trainers and facilitated by the EAF Department.
Participant will be awarded a Certificate upon attending each Series and a group presentation on the respective topic.

Selection Interview
Interested students, upon registration, will be invited to a selection interview from 1-3 March through email. Successful applicants will receive individual email notifications after the interviews.
