Career Leap Club (CLC) is one of the initiatives proposed by the Task Force on Graduate Employment chaired by the Provost. The aim is to provide focused coaching to a small group of high-performing and self-motivated students selected from Year 3 students. A pool of renowned industry advisors have been solicited to provide close mentoring to students designated to them throughout a period of around two years.
Two BBA (Accounting) Year 3 students were selected to join the CLC. One of them was assigned to a tax partner of E&Y (HK) and the other one was assigned to a senior audit manager of KPMG (HK). Since November 2014, functions have been organised either through Careers Office of SAO or on personal basis between the industry advisors and the students.
