Professor Bradley R Barnes of Sheffield Business School visited HSMC on 3 November 2015 to present his research “Investigating International Marketing Relationships: A Study of Sino-Anglo Import-Exporting Behaviour”. Professor Barnes is currently the Assistant Dean of Research and Professor of International Management & Marketing at Sheffield Business School, University of Sheffield. Prior to that, he was the Hong Kong Alumni Endowed Chair Professor in International Management at Kent Business School. Professor Barnes’s research focuses on the Chinese notion of “Guanxi” and its influence on business performance. Participants were much inspired by his presentation.
