During the Business School Gala Week of 2022, the Department of Marketing hosted an event entitled “A Marketing Perspective: Retail Vitality and Consumer Health” on 27 June engaging over 80 industry representatives from both private and public sectors.
Dr Kenneth KWONG (Assistant Professor) presented the results of the survey conducted in the retail and catering industry, with updates on the latest research findings about the industry and suggestions on how consumer health can be promoted through research.
The highlight of the event was students’ experience sharing, led by Dr Winnie Chan, on insights they gained from participating in international competitions and engaging in field work via business consultation.
Dr Haksin CHAN (Head of Department) expressed hope for establishing a long-term cooperative relationship with the business community, and thus motivating students to learn and achieve more.
The event was well attended by over 80 guests from various chambers of commerce and small and medium-sized enterprises.
