According to the Graduate Employment Survey 2018 conducted by the Student Affairs Office (SAO), there was 100% of BBA-MGT graduates engaging in either employment (96%) or further studies (4%), which was the only program attaining this level in our university. The response rate of BBA-MGT graduates was 98%, the 2nd highest among all the programs. This is an encouraging news, showing that collective efforts by professors and students have paid off. The BBA-MGT Programme has had its first batch of graduated students since 5 December 2018, the date of the first graduation ceremony after the ratification of the university title as the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. The Hang Seng University Management Alumni Association (HSUMAA) has also been established and had its inaugural gathering on 15 December 2018. The party was held in a café in Causeway Bay. The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong student team represented by the BBA in Management Year-3 students snapped up the winner position in the Tithe Ethical Consumption Movement (TECM) Youth Promotional Campaign Competition organized by the Fullness Social Enterprise Society on 1 December 2018 held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Two BBA-MGT students (Chan Ho Yi, Lydia and Tsang Pui Man, Vicki), and teammates Cheung Ching Hei, Daniel (BBA-CG) and Chan Pak Hang, Mick (BBA-MKT), won the Gold Award Winner and the Best Advertising Video Award in the Joint University Outstanding Marketing Award (JUOMA) 2017-2018. JUOMA has gained wide recognition since its establishment in 1995. A total of 388 teams from universities and colleges in Hong Kong submitted their works in this year.
