The School of Business hosted an international food and culture sharing event “Celebrating International Diversity: Festival, Food & Fun” on February 14, 2023. International and exchange students from all over the world, including Finland, France, Spain, China, and the Philippines, came together to share their yummy foods and unique cultures.
Dean BARNES kicked off the event, chatting with every student and sharing his own experiences living and working in both the UK and HK. The School served up a tasty spread of international cuisine, including Indian curry, naan, Italian pizza and pasta. And a few students made French toast to give their schoolmates a taste of French culture.
This event was all about getting to familiarise themselves with each other and sharing experiences. The School aimed to create opportunities for students to learn about the world and broaden their cultural horizons.
