Biography
Dr Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accountancy at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. She earned her PhD from the City University of Hong Kong. Her research primarily focuses on auditing, tax compliance, and ESG, aiming to provide empirical insights that benefit investors, accounting practitioners, and regulators. Dr Zhang is a certified public accountant (CPA) and holds professional qualifications from both the CICPA and HKICPA. Prior to pursuing her PhD, she accumulated extensive industry experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm, where she provided business assurance services to a diverse range of multinational clients.Research and Teaching Interests
