Biography

Edward comes to the education field with 20+ years of managerial experience in both commercial and nonprofit sector. Armed with colourful achievement from corporate marketing, he shifted his focus on social good and has since concentrated in the profession of nonprofit advancement. Over the last two decades, he has successfully helped a number of nonprofits to raise substantial fund as well as their philanthropic and brand profiles that included universities, a professional institute and charities. Besides lecturing at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, he holds a similar position at another tertiary education institution. Ed is also the Executive Director of Chapel & York Hong Kong Foundation and have established his consultancy in 2016 in providing advisory and training on marketing, communications and fundraising for nonprofits. Personally, Ed is passionate about education and youth development. Prior to joining the University, he has been actively engaging in various voluntary projects in these areas.
