    Biography

    Dr. Jennifer Lau is an advertising scholar, holding a PhD from City University of Hong Kong. With over 15 years of professional experience in advertising and marketing, she has worked with renowned brands like Calvin Klein, Estee Lauder, and Dolce & Gabbana. While her works have been published in the esteemed International Journal of Advertising and Journal of Journal of Broadcasting & Electronic Media, her research focuses on examining how digital communication affects the effectiveness of advertising in the luxury fashion industry. Dr. Lau is passionate about educating future marketing professionals in media literacy and critical thinking. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she actively contributes to academic service and continues to bridge theory and practice in the advertising field.
