    Biography

    Professor Dan Li holds the L. Leslie Waters Chair in International Business and serves as the Executive Associate Dean for Faculty and Research at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Her research primarily focuses on global strategy, with particular emphasis on international strategic alliances and the institutional influences on activities of both established multinational enterprises and international new ventures. She has published over 50 scholarly articles and perspectives in these areas. Many of her articles have appeared in top-tier academic journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS), Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of World Business, Journal of International Management, Global Strategy Journal, and Management International Review. Professor Li is currently an Area Editor for JIBS and a Supervising Editor for the JIBS Special Issue titled "Rethinking Firm International Involvement in a Changing World of Complex Realities." Previously, she has held roles as an Associate Editor and Special Issue Editor of the Global Strategy Journal, and as the Editor-in-Chief of Business Horizons, a leading journal that bridges academic research with practical recommendations for businesses.
