Financial Trading Lab Monthly Workshop in April was successfully held on 11 April 2017. The Department of Economics and Finance was glad to invite Dr. Alfred Ma, Managing Director of CASH Algo Finance Group, to deliver a talk on “Make a Career in Algorithmic Trading”.
Dr. Ma gave an overview of the concept of Algo Trading. He also introduced the skill sets needed for starting a career in the automated trading world. Dr. Ma shared some experience on his career life in Algo Trading. He also recommended some books to students, which are useful for starting a career in Algo Trading.
The Q&A session was then held by Dr. Ma and Dr. David Chui, Head of Department of Economics and Finance.
