The second guest lecture cum networking with tutors was organized by the Department of Accountancy on 24 November 2016. We have invited Ms. Rachel Ng, Assistant Company Secretarial Manager of CLP Holdings Ltd to deliver a guest lecture on directors and company secretaries.
In addition, Ms. Candy Wong, Director－Education and Examinations of the Hong Kong Institute of Charted Secretaries (HKICS), was also invited to introduce HKICS and their examinations.
After the guest lecture, a team of accounting students that successfully entered the final round of HKICPA QP Case Analysis Competition carried out their presentation rehearsal to get comments and feedbacks from teachers and students.
The rehearsal was then followed by the networking with tutors meetings. Attendees were mostly BBA(Hons) in CG Year 3 students and BBA(Hons) with Accounting Concentration. Personal tutors from the Department of Accountancy attended the meeting and answered students’ questions regarding career planning and development.
Guest Lecture #2 cum Networking with Tutors was successfully held with an attendance of more than 100 students.
