HSMC Team Achieved the First Runner-up in Joint University Forex Investment Simulation Contest (JUFXIC) 2018

The Joint University Forex Investment Simulation Contest is an investment competition in Hong Kong which has been organising for 11 years. The objectives of the contest are to enhance students’ understanding of the foreign exchange (Forex) market and to provide an opportunity for participants to gain experience on decision-making about investments.

The competition was divided into two rounds. In the first round, each contestant was required to submit a two-page summary on measures to boost Forex trading in Hong Kong while in the final round, the 12 finalists were asked to devise an investment plan of HK$30,000,000 to be presented in groups in front of the jury panel.

The HSMC team won the second prize and became the first runner-up of the contest. The award was presented at the Closing Ceremony as well as the Prize Giving Ceremony of JUFXIC 2018 held on 26 April 2018 (Thursday). The brilliant team members are:
