The 2018 Management Venue (Part 2) entitled “Visit the Inno Space cum Prototype Production Workshop” was successfully implemented on 24 February 2018. The event was essentially a site visit and a full-day DIY prototyping workshop at HKPC’s (Hong Kong Productivity Council) startup platform Inno Space. With limited facilities and capacity, there were only about 20 students getting the chance to transform their ideas into products by working on high-tech prototyping devices including 3D printers and laser cutting machines.
Ms Stephanie Huang (first from right), the Centre Manager of Inno Space, introduced the Inno Space to students.
One of the technical experts (second from right) at Inno Space explained the advanced technologies of 3D printing and laser cutting.
Ms Jody Wong (second from right) and two BBA-MGT students were experiencing the facilities.
Dr Victor Lau (first from left) and students learned how to use the 3D printing software.
Participants were producing their own 3D self-portrait figurines.
