Personal Tutor-Student Tea Gathering together with MGT Award Presentation were held on 9 April 2016. Before the tea gathering began, Department Head of Management, Prof Irene Chow presented certificates to students whose GPA higher than 3.60. MGT Award Presentation aimed to express the appreciation to the outstanding academic performances of the students. After the Award Presentation, awardees were invited to share their learning tips to fellow students. The learning practice such as making their own notes, revising before classes, raising questions immediately, was shared.
Personal Tutor-Student Tea Gathering was a casual meeting for the tutors and students to interact after class. It provided a platform for the tutors to understand more on the students’ opinions on various aspects, including programme structure, teaching and learning, personal development, etc. All Year 1 and 2 Management students were invited to join this event. Students tended to express their views on the casual setting and the tutors received a lot of feedback which was practical for programme development. Both tutors and students enjoyed a great time in the gathering.
