Personal Finance Literacy Competition 2022

In late 2021, the government issued digital consumption vouchers. One of the aims is to further develop and boost the use of electronic payment services in Hong Kong. While there are merits of using e-payment methods, there are possible financial traps if not mastering them well, especially for youngsters. They should know more about the pros and cons of e-payment methods before they get more freedom in using money and making spending decisions by moving to high school and tertiary levels.

2. Short Video/Audio Story Competition: “If e-payment is not mastered well, then…”
(3- to 5-min video/audio story highlighting what would happen if not mastering e-payment well)

Award: | Champion – Cash award: HKD6,000;
First runner-up – Cash award: HKD4,000;
Second runner-up – Cash award: HKD3,000;
Merit (3 quotas) – Cash award: HKD1,000 each |
