In the first 8 months of 2022, “tech-related” crimes cases reached 14,160, a significant increase of 39% Y-O-Y. Elderly is one of the major victim segments. This is a worry that their low adoption of technology could result in limited choices of financial services in the new era and become more vulnerable to related scams. The young generation could have a role here. Therefore, this is a good idea to promote financial literacy across generations.
