    Students, alumni, and department members shared a memorable night. The Department of Management is proud to hold “The Graduate Night – Retro Enlightenment” (【畢．夜．承．恒】), which carries the essence of transcendence and signifies the major objective of education: inheriting from the past and enlightening the future.  We welcomed six graduating classes since 2018 to come “home” and celebrated together in the historic backdrop of HSU and nostalgic Hong Kong.     The School of Business and the Department of Economics and Finance co-organised a team-based competition targeted for senior secondary students from March to May this year. The theme was “Stay Alert to Money Traps – The Earlier, the Better” 「( 理財關注『早』WhatsApp貼圖設計比賽」), in encouraging secondary school students to create WhatsApp stickers to alert their peers on financial management and be cautious about financial scams. The competition attracted participation from 27 secondary schools, with NLSI Lui Kwok Pat Fong College winning the championship.     The Secondary School FinTech Innovation Competition 2024 was successfully held on 26 June 2024. The Competition was organized by the Department of Economics and Finance and aimed to promote FinTech literacy among senior secondary school students. The event received significant support from esteemed organizations such as the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) and the Institute of Financial Technologists of ASIA (IFTA).  The competition received an overwhelming response from secondary school students who enthusiastically showcased their ideas with creativity.     Let’s applaud 6 students from BBA-PA year 3 and year 4 who have successfully entered the Hong Kong Final of the Ernst & Young’s Young Tax Professional of the Year!  MA Hiu Tung, Tracy made her way to be one of the 8 best-performing finalists entering the final round of the Hong Kong Final!  We were all proud of their achievement, in particular their attitude, effort and commitment in making this happen.
