    The ACY Guest Lecture on Forensic Investigation and Experience held on 1 February 2024 was a resounding success. The Department of Accountancy invited three renowned specialists from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Hong Kong Chapter, namely Mr Ian Barlow, Mr Kris Lee, and Mr Dudley Tyen, to share their valuable insights into the field of forensic investigation.     The Public Lecture on National Security Law was successfully held on 1 February 2024, co-hosted by the Common Core Curriculum Office, Department of Accountancy, School of Business, and HSUHK Start-up and SME Resource Centre. The event featured Mr C.M. Chan, President of the Law Society of Hong Kong, as the guest speaker. Mr Chan provided an overview of the history of Hong Kong and the background behind the formulation of regulations related to national security.     The Department of Accountancy has successfully hosted the Personal Tutor-tutee Networking cum Mosaic Lamp Arts Workshop on 25 January 2024, as a kick-off event for the commencement of Semester 2, 2023-24. The event began with the networking session which allowed students to connect with their personal tutors and seek advice on their academic and personal development. Following the networking session, students crafted their own mosaic lamps under the guidance of instructors. The event received positive feedback from the participants, as it provided them with an opportunity to build stronger connections with their personal tutors and fellow peers through non-academic activities.… Read more...
    The HSUHK Graduation Ceremony was successfully held on 4 Dec 2023. The Department arranged a series of activities for BBA-ACC, BBA-CG, BBA-CGC and BBA-PA graduates on that day, ensuring this remarkable event with cherished and joyful moments. Right after the official ceremony, graduates gathered at Wei Lun Square for the group photo with their teachers and schoolmates to share the joy and excitement of graduation. Besides the group photo session, a photo booth was set up and featured specially designed backdrops for these programmes.     The ACCA Hong Kong Business Competition 2023 concluded successfully on 2 Dec 2023. This year, the competition themed as ‘Be You. Be part of Future Unicorn.’ Which required candidates to formulate strategic plans and recommendations for one of the three real life start-ups provided.
