Professional Bodies Briefing Session 2023-24 – Series 1 (2nd Session)

Further to the Professional Bodies Briefing Session 2023 on 28 September 2023, the Department of Accountancy organised a 2nd session on 5 October 2023, aiming to introduce students with two more professional organisations before they decide the professional qualification to pursue.

The invited professional bodies are: (in alphabetical order)

The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA)
The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK)

Representatives pointed out the unique features of their respective professional qualifications and examination structures. Besides, they listed out the skills and traits that they are looking for from the candidates.

Ms. Joey Lee (Associate Head, Department of Accountancy) presented souvenirs to the representatives of HKICPA.
