The ACY Guest Lecture on Forensic Investigation and Experience held on 1 February 2024 was a resounding success. The Department of Accountancy invited three renowned specialists from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Hong Kong Chapter, namely Mr Ian Barlow, Mr Kris Lee, and Mr Dudley Tyen, to share their valuable insights into the field of forensic investigation.
With the case example of the British Post Office scandal, students were introduced on the procedures of handling forensic investigation and the important roles of forensic experts in detecting and preventing financial fraud.
