    Professional Bodies Briefing Session was successfully held on 4 October 2018. The activity aimed at providing students with the up-to-date information on the professional bodies and their respective professional qualifications to prepare students for their future career development in accounting and corporate governance fields. This year, FIVE professional bodies were invited to introduce their institutions and professional qualification requirements.     Congratulations! Three students from BBA (with Accounting Concentration) received their scholarships from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) on 22 September 2018. They are: Ms. WANG Zijie, Twinkle (Graduate 2018) was awarded QP Scholarship 2018; Ms. CHAN Kit Wai (Year 4 student) and Ms. WONG Hiu To (Year 4 student) were awarded the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs Scholarship 2017-2018.     Congratulations! Two of our HSMC teams have made astonishing performance at Corporate Governance Paper Competition held by Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) on 8 September 2018. A joint-university team of two BBA Year 2 students from HSMC and one BBA Year 2 student from Hong Kong Baptist University won Championship in Paper Competition and 1st Runner-up in Paper Presentation.
