    A team of five students from the Department of Accountancy have represented the department at the Tax Intelligence and Fun Day 2025, hosted by the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK) on Friday and Saturday, May 23-24. Demonstrating creativity and professionalism, the team designed an eye-catching Dragon Boat Festival-themed booth, which served as a platform to engage the public through interactive games and informative activities.     We are pleased to report on the successful conclusion of the ACY Symposium titled “Enhancing Financial Reporting and Transparency: Navigating the Revised Corporate Governance Code” held on 24 April 2025 by the Department of Accountancy at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK).     The ACY Graduation Celebration and Photo Booth 2024 was successfully held on 4 Dec 2024. The Department of Accountancy arranged a series of activities for graduates to celebrate their accomplishments and make this special moment even more remarkable! Graduates gathered at Wei Lun Square to take group photos with their teachers after the official graduation ceremony, commemorating this significant moment.     The Professional Bodies Briefing Session 2024-25 – Series 1 was successfully held on 26 September 2024. In this series, the Department of Accountancy invited three representatives from renowned professional bodies, namely (in alphabetic order) the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), CPA Australia and Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), to delineate their institutes and respective professional qualifications, including the examination structures and paper exemptions granted to HSUHK graduates.     The alumni community of the Department of Accountancy came together on 12 April (Friday) for a delightful ACY Pun Choy gathering held at M Canteen.  The event brought together alumni from various graduating years, as well as students from Hong Kong and mainland China, fostering a sense of friendship and cherished memories.
