    Congratulations! Our BBA (with Accounting Concentration) and BBA in Corporate Governance programmes have been accredited by The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK).     Personal Guest Lecture on “How to Apply Big Data to Deal with Business Problems?” cum Personal Tutor-tutee Networking #2 was successfully held on 21 February 2019. Tutor-tutee Networking Session was held before the guest lecture. Students met and mingled with personal tutors in groups. They got good advice on academic and career planning from both their personal tutors and peers.     The ACCA Hong Kong Community Day 2019 was successfully held on 13 January 2019. HSUHK Student Association of Corporate Governance (SACG) was invited to form a rickshaw team to compete for the Chairman Tertiary Cup, one of the highlights of the event. This year, the event was themed in “Embracing a Colourful Future with Hope” with a view to bring love and hope to the community.     The HSUHK Graduation Ceremony was successfully held on 5 December 2018. Following the ceremony, the Department of Accountancy has hosted a graduation celebration for our BBA (with Accounting Concentration) (BBA-ACC) and BBA in Corporate Governance (BBA-CG) graduates, their parents and guests. Graduates were all excited to meet their schoolmates and teachers. To make the festivity more delightful, over the drinks and hors d’oeuvre served, the Department of Accountancy also arranged a photo counter with specially designed backdrops and props for graduates to capture the memorable moment with their families, friends and teachers.     The HSUHK Information Day was held on 17 November 2018. The Department of Accountancy had set up an exhibition booth to provide visitors with the latest information of the BBA (Hons) (with Accounting Concentration) (BBA-ACC) and BBA (Hons) in Corporate Governance (BBA-CG). The exhibition booth attracted hundreds of visitors. Besides, two sessions of information seminars were held to deliver in-depth information of BBA-CG programme, introducing programme structure, career prospect, professional recognition and so forth.     Guest Lecture on “Listing Requirements of HKIPO and Roles and Responsibilities of Accountants” cum Personal Tutor-tutee Networking #1 was successfully held on 15 November 2018. Two of our HSMC teams have made astonishing performance at Corporate Governance Paper Competition held by Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) on 8 September 2018.
