  • The Award Presentation Ceremony has been held on 13 November 2021. Our BBA-GBM students achieved good results in the competition of Hong Kong Undergraduate Financial Planners of the Year Award 2021. The competition aimed to raise awareness on financial planning among undergraduate students and equip them with relevant knowledge for a career in financial planning. The competition was divided into 3 rounds: a first round of compilating a detailed financial proposal; the second round for producing a 10-minutes video oral presentation; and the final round of a face-to-face presentation in front of judges.     To strengthen the bonding experiences among our Management students, the Department has been organizing a series of “Management League 2021” activities during the summer holidy. It includes a series of events such as photo competition, music competition, hand-craft workshops for charity. Students are encouraged to contribute to their own programme (i.e., BBA-MGT, BBA-HRM, and BBA-GBM) through earning League Points. By participating in these different on-campus activities, they could get involved in fund-raising for charitable purposes, show their skills and talents and cultivate friendships with new and old friends.     CHUI Pui Yan (BBA-MGT, Year 3) and CHAN Yan Tung (BBA-HRM, Year 3) teamed up as “Puzzle House”, winning the 1st Runner-Up prize and Honourable Mentions (Relevance and Impact) from the HSUHK Social Innovation Competition 2021. The team were awarded on the Awards Presentation Ceremony on 25 February 2021.     To promote Chinese Business Etiquettes among our fellow students and staff, the Department of Management invited Ms Patrizia Yeung, the Founder and Chief Consultant of YiLi International Etiquette to be our speaker of the “Chinese Business Etiquette Series” seminars. Thanks for the sponsorship from the Sin Wai Kin Chinese Culture Promotion Scheme, two seminars were held successfully on 8 April and 13 April.     “Hsin Chong – K.N. Godfrey Yeh Education Fund for Joint Student Projects 2020/21” awards an amount of HKD30,000 subsidy to our BBA-GBM Yr 2 student, Enoch Yau Tsun Hey, leader of the joint student project “All-in-One Online Learning Platform” (OOLP) which provides high-quality and exclusive online learning experiences to local secondary school students.     GBM High Table Dinner 2020 was successfully held on 26 June 2020. More than 40 students, faculty members, advisors, scholarship donors from Hong Kong Young Chief Officers’ Association (HKYCOA) and practitioners from various business fields attended this event.
