Guest Lecture on “The Evolving Role of the Directors” cum Personal Tutor-tutee Networking #3 was successfully held on 18 April 2019.
As the end of semester was right around the corner, students seized the opportunity to get advice on studies and career planning from their personal tutors during the Personal Tutor-tutee Networking. It was delighted to see both students and our teachers enjoyed the time of discussion and interaction.
Following the Personal Tutor-tutee Networking, Ms. Miriam Yee, Chief Business Officer from The Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD), was invited to deliver a guest lecture on “The Evolving Role of the Directors”. Ms. Yee outlined the key elements of “Director Professionalism” and its importance to corporate governance with a view to allow students to acquire new perspective on the role and responsibilities of directors and corporate secretary.
