Programme Orientations were successfully held on 20 August 2019 for freshmen in BBA (with Accounting Concentration) (BBA-ACC), BBA in Corporate Governance and Compliance (BBA-CGC), and BBA in Professional Accountancy (BBA-PA), as a part of HSUHK Student Orientation Day 2019. During the event, freshmen met our faculty members and other senior students and were introduced to the curriculum and graduation requirements of their respective programmes. HSUHK Team, HANaGirl won the first runner-up award in the LEGO® BRICKthrough Challenge, Trophy and prize were awarded on 28 June 2019. The objective of the competition is to redefine LEGO®’s business strategy, contestants should come up with a 3-year business strategy targeting the “0-14 years old girls”, let LEGO® become a more female-friendly brand in Hong Kong. It provided great opportunities for them to obtain hands-on experience in marketing and advertising. Department of Accountancy of HSUHK was grateful to receive Multiable Company’s software donation in-kind, which worth more than HK$540,000, for supporting teaching and learning activities in the module “ACY4009 Enterprise Resource Planning Systems for Accounting”.
